Examinations...

Examinations...a matter of worry for many, and for very less, a matter of less worry. For me, an examination is just a normal test to test how much we have learnt and our ability to apply theories in practical life. If you excel in these, consider yourself to have passed, but if you fail, try not be demotivated and give more time to academics.

In examinations. many people tend to cheat and score more. Fine, this will work for now, but what will you do in the long run? You will have to face examinations one day or the other, and better prepare yourself for it, rather than plan on cheating.

Sometimes, what happens is you prepare yourself well for exams, but when the question paper comes in front of you, you forget everything. This has happened to me as well. You need to keep yourself in one piece in this situation. Attempt the questions that you know, and give a little time to the questions which you do not know, and if you still don't figure it out, move on to the next question. Come back again to the unattempted questions at the last, and try them out.

Preparing for the exams is also overwhelming. Collect the previous question banks, prepare from the syllabus, and try to figure the question pattern and prepare yourself accordingly. At times, unexpected questions come to you in the exams, that's why prepare yourself for the unexpected.

When the result comes, you'll be surprised!

Tips On Improving Concentration

If you do not concentrate on what you are doing, your labour on that work will not be so productive. For example, while doing a sum in Mathematics, or just copying down the solution, if you do not concentrate, you will end up understanding nothing. But if you concentrate, you will be successful in understanding the sum, and definitely will be able to answer it on your own.

Lets take a science lecture as another example. While the teacher is teaching, we are always busy to convert his/her speech into notes, without concentrating on what he/she is teaching. If you pay your entire attention on his/her speech, you will be able to make a note of it even some time later. So paying concentration makes a difference.

Before you start to do something, clear out your mind from all the negative or positive thoughts of the world. Close your eyes and stay in isolation for about five minutes before you start your homework, I promise that it will help. Take short five to ten minutes' break every half hour of forty-five minutes, eat something at that time or just have a small chit-chat with your sibling. Then close your eyes and keep calm for five minutes, and continue with your work. This will help.

One important thing. Stay away from your laptop or mobile while studying. It makes you divert your attention.

After three hours of study, have dinner, or watch television for about half an hour. This will clear up your mind. After this, sit down and make a note of what important things you completed today, and what is left, and make a new list of things to do.

Strictly go to bed at 10.30 pm and try to think of good things before you sleep. It is recommended to have a short gap between you study and got to sleep. Try to maintain that gap. Getting enough sleep is another important factor to have a fresh mind in the morning.

Importance of Time Management

Time management is really very important for an individual, especially a student. If we, students do not manage time, we end up completing none of our works on time and get frustrated. Well, truthfuly speaking, the same has happened to me in the past few days. I haven't been able to do any homework, completely and I haven't got enough time to practice guitar daily. It makes me sad.

So, I've come to a solution. First, What I do is make a lst of things to be ddone and arrange it in decreasing order of importance, and allot maximum time required to do it. As I finish my work, I cross it out of my list. I usually come home at 6 in the evening, freshen up by 7, and then sit and do homework till 8.45, without any break. Then, I watch T.V for 30 minutes and have dinner at the same time, and then get back to work. I practice guitar on alternates, usually after I reach home, because it soothes my mind from all the workload.

This idea has worked well so far, and I finally got time to get on the Internet and update my blog. Stay tuned for more...
